Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson is an American actress who gained fame by playing Buffy Summers in the cult film Buffy the Vampire SlayerRebecca Becky Granger in the telefilm Nightingales and also the brief-lived NBC show with the same nameErica Paget in the CBS Drama Early Edition and Marlowe Viccellio in Psych. Swanson is a native of California. She was acting from a young age. She started her career working in the field of advertising, appearing in a variety of commercials.
