Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the elder child of four. Her parents, who were a dentist and teacher in a school were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting and theatre. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. At the age of a young lady rising to the heights of fame was swift and ended with early success. After her graduation in 1998, she participated in the French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to launching the journey to become an actor. Although she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from the Catholic tradition, saying that she is not officially Catholic. She has pursued a modeling career alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. She also has a serious passion for photography. She recently exhibited her work at the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. In her photographs, she focuses primarily on celebrity and the spotlight. The camera is turned on journalists who examined her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's debut role, as Amelie Poulain's lead actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed her international stardom. Amelie has been undoubtedly a huge box office smash internationally and praised at many award shows around the world. It's the largest French language film ever to be released in the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in a wide range of film productions ranging that ranged from British dramatics like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
